POS BILLBOARD OF THE MONTH.

Momentum values determined by IKAO decide who makes it to the final round.

Point-of-sale poster ads send strong purchasing impulses – provided that both the message and the image are convincing. That’s why awk AUSSENWERBUNG regularly partners with the publishing company Burda to find the PoS Design of the Month, and IKAO has a major role in this process. In order to apply a scientific basis for selection, we first determine the momentum of each participating design.


The three designs with the best momentum scores are then published on the Burda online portals “LISA Freundeskreis”, “Freundin Trend Lounge”, “Genuss-Experten” or “Men’s Brands”. Website users then have a week to submit their opinions and scores for the designs.

The ads with the highest momentum scores often generate the most “likes” as well.

These contests have repeatedly confirmed IKAO’s momentum measurement as a highly reliable indicator for the acceptance of an ad. Again and again, the contest winner has been the design that began the competition with the highest starting score.
